A Collaboration with Tollegno 1900- An Indorama Ventures Company.

Based on the newspaper article on deep sea fishing and how trawlers are digging up our oceans with destructive fishing techniques. I wanted to create a wearable outfit that was designed to withstand the harsh conditions at sea. By bonding the Tollegno wool with waterproof ripstop, I created a new fabric that was both waterproof and comfortable. I made a fishing net which is made to be worn over the anorak; a symbolic message to show the entrapment of a fisherman caught within their own actions.
